Absract. The article discusses issues related to developing the civic competence of students from Bulgarian schools abroad. An analysis is made of current curricula and the key competencies embedded in them. A comparative analysis of these programs with Italian normative documents related to the development of civic culture is also offered. A variety of digital learning content is being argued as an effective resource for civic skill formation.
