Absract. The article focuses on the teachers’ frequently made mistakes in the
application of the methodical approach in Bulgarian language 1st – 4th grade lessons.
Some of the problems with the interpretation of linguistic concepts, the Bulgarian
language lesson structure and the used methods and techniques are commented. The
common mistakes are illustrated with specific examples for the different learning
situations of Bulgarian language lessons. Some methodical ideas for overcoming of
the observed shortcomings are proposed.
