Absract. The aim of the study is to interpret the main methodological segments of human capital presence: theoretical profile, recognition process and contemporary Bulgarian implications of human capital. The analysis is based on a general synthesis of conceptual solutions and comparative data in a historical and prospective perspective. The novelties refer to additions to the definition of the concepts of “capital” and “human capital”, an attempt at differentiated presentation of the successive transformations of the system-wide characteristics (socialization, economization and organization) into the main identifying features of human capital, generalized evidence of its “responsibility” in Bulgarian development in the third decade of the present century.
Keywords: capital; human capital; human capital presence; human capital prescriptions in contemporary Bulgaria
