Absract. The article displays the practical experience of the vocational
school in introducing dual form of education in the field of vocational education
and training. It includes both activities and results of the two stages of its
implementation - experimental and real. The study covers the period from 2016
to 2018. The approbation was carried out with students from 11th grade, studying
“Restoration of Stylish Furniture and Joinery”, together with companies from the
wood and furniture industries. The actual period began in 2017 when the school was
included in the Bulgarian-Swiss project “DOMINO” (Dual Education for Modern
Requirements and Needs of the Society) and continues up to now with students
from the specialty “Furniture Manufacturing”.
