Dear authors, readers, colleagues,
We are acquainted with most of you, with some of you we have even worked together. Today I would like to address you as the Editor-in-Chief of the Mathematics and Informatics scientific journal, edited and published by the Az-buki National Publishing House for Education and Science. The Editorial Board strives for this journal to be a forum for scientific knowledge, for critical discussion and distribution of new ideas, a meeting ground for the energy, imagination and creative force of the new digital generation and the lived experience, knowledge and wisdom of the analogue generation. A forum not for opposition, but for collaborative work and action which can benefit the development of science, education and society as a whole. Today mathematics, informatics and informational technologies are a driving factor for the acceleration of societal development. Their possibilities, however, are far from exhausted. I hope that with your help and commitment, in 2021 this journal will contribute even more both to the development of these sciences and to the expansion of their application in all spheres of public life.
Prof. Nikolai Nikolov, DSc.
Editor-in-Chief of the Mathematics and Informatics journal
