<\/strong>Abstract.<\/strong> This paper presents a comparative  analysis of the philosophical, theoretical and methodological specifics of two innovative approaches to education – project and problem-based learning. Its creation was a result of the newly-established institutional interest towards the wider implementation of these approaches into school practice in Bulgaria. The paper addresses the interest of those in-service teachers and educators who are looking for a deeper understanding of the nature and the authentic potential of contemporary innovations in education as effective alternatives to traditional approaches and practices. With that end in view, their specific characteristics and resources, similarities and differences, as well as pros and cons, are conceptualized.<\/p>\n

Abstract.<\/span><\/strong> This paper follows the best practices in the work of the Office of Career Services, Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Harvard University. The study is mainly based on observations and interviews with experts from the office, held personally on the spot at Harvard University during a training in March 2013. Some additional services that a modern university career center is able to provide for the students\/alumni are also included in the paper, and so are the online systems and networks that are becoming more and more important in the work of the career services. The article includes examples of good practices with low financial cost, which could be easily integrated in the Bulgarian university career centers. The study is entirely practical and aims to be useful for practitioners-career counselors and heads of career centers by providing them with useful and interesting tips, and introducing them to the methods and systems used by the career service of one of the most prestigious universities in the world.<\/p>\n

Abstract.<\/strong> It is necessary for students to spend a long and exhausting period for the university entrance exam. This period has some certain negative effect on the students and the parents. Both parents and students are directly affected by those negative problems. This situation causes physical and moral damages for the families, who sometimes get exhausted. In this study, a questionnaire consisting of 38 questions on \u201cA research on the University Entrance Exam in Turkey\u201d was given to 400 parents whose children were still attending different high schools or private teaching institutions or graduated from those schools or institutions in Edirne and then the data collected were analyzed.<\/p>\n

Abstract.<\/strong> This study has been conducted with the aim of comparison of play skills and social skills characteristics of children with autism spectrum disorders. This study has been carried out on 6-year-old autistic, mentally retarded and normally  developed  150  children  studying  at  special  education  institution  and kindergartens in Edirne, K\u0131rklareli, Tekirda\u011f city centers and their towns with the participation of mothers of the children. In the study, as data collection instruments \u201eGeneral Information form\u201c, \u201ePreschool and Kindergarten Behavior Scale-2\u201c (PKBS-2) and \u201ePlay Skills Assessment Scale\u201c (PSAS) are used. The study results show that according to the results of Play Skills Assessment Scale, the score means of normally developed children are higher than the score means of autistic and mentally retarded children and the score difference is found statistically significant [F(2-147)=70,44, p<0.05]. However, mentally retarded ones\u2019 score means are revealed to be higher than the score means of autistic children but the score difference is not found statistically significant [F(2-147)=70,44, p>0.05]. According  to  the  Results  of  Social  Skills  Scale,  the  score  means  of  normally developed children are higher than the score means of autistic and mentally retarded children and the score difference is statistically significant [F(2-147)=50,57,p<0.05]. The score means of mentally retarded children are higher than autistic ones but the difference is not statistically significant [F(2-147)=50,57, p>0.05].<\/p>\n

<\/strong>Abstract.<\/strong> Interpersonal relationships, the model, the style of education of the child and the parent\u2019s positions have an influence since its birth. Problems of mental and emotional development of children can lead to serious consequences in their future life. Discordant relationships in the family adversely affect the child\u2019s behavior and its confidence. Positive behaviors are valid when applied systematically and are perceived by the child as an example.<\/p>\n
