HRISTO BOTEV IN THE CONTEXT OF BULGARIAN REVIVAL PERIOD<\/strong><\/p>\n


Abstract.<\/strong> Hristo Botev\u2019s works are situated in the context of the Bulgarian Revival poetry. The beginning of the cultural epoch is argumented by tracing the existence of religion, folklore and history \/ historicism in comparison with the Middle Ages. The speci\ufb01 city of the lyrical discourse of the Revival Period is presented on a more general basis. General and more speci\ufb01 cally different places in works of Revival Period poets and of Botev are emphasized. The otherness of the author is found in the polysemy of his texts as well as in the hierarchy of his value system (of his arch of wishes), identi\ufb01 ed in his works. <\/p>\n

EUROPEAN CHILD\u2019S MYTH AND PETYA DUBAROVA\u2019S MYTH<\/strong><\/p>\n

Abstract.<\/strong> The article presents essential aspects of the child\u2019s myth in Europe: its development, its sacred and profane versions of culture, its major motifs and functional core, basic archetype images and their historical image dynamics. Petya Dubarova\u2019s myth has been identi\ufb01 ed from both the mythological contexts in which the underlying ones are the European and Bulgarian from the second half of the twentieth century. Its speci\ufb01 c characteristics are presented, etiological as well as functional, which describe it as \u201cthe other\u201d child\u2019s myth in a totalitarian culture as a manifestation of the principle of enantiodromia in human culture, so typical for the birth of new religions as a phenomenon of creative mythology (Campbell) expressing the ideal of self-creation of man as an authentic individual and his emancipation from collective and authoritative mythology.<\/p>\n
